Frederick Otto,
Ethan Sherwood,
Carmen Bufkin, and
Anya Rajan were named to the CSC Academic All-District Teams earlier this week.
Hailing from Germany, Otto collected six singles wins and four doubles victories in his sophomore year for the Kingsmen. Against Whittier in early April, Otto clawed out an exhilarating 2-6, 6-4, 7(7)-6(4) win to help the Kingsmen defeat the Poets.
Sherwood was named to the All-SCIAC team in his senior year, the second time he has earned such an honor. Playing the opponent's top competition each match, Sherwood amassed seven singles dubs and nine doubles wins.
On the heels of another impressive season, Bufkin was named to the All-SCIAC First Team for the fourth consecutive season after a 12-1 singles record for the Regals. She added 10 doubles victories. The senior has qualified for the 2025 NCAA Individual Championships in singles, and will compete for a national title next weekend.
Rajan joined Bufkin on the All-SCIAC team, the sophomore's first such honor after garnering six singles victories and eight doubles wins. She had two dominant wins against Chapman and Caltech, both matches won by the Regals by close scores of 4-3.
