Cal Lutheran women's basketball (5-0, 0-0 SCIAC) appeared in the WBCA Coaches Poll and the D3Hoops.com Poll once again after a week with no countable games. The Regals went on the road to face Division-I UC Riverside and kept it close all game.

In the Coaches Poll, Cal Lutheran dropped two spots to #21 after a few neighboring teams got wins to move up the rankings. In the D3Hoops.com Poll, however, Cal Lutheran jumped from 6 votes up to 34 votes, and it now sits just outside the top 25.

The Regals will begin conference play with a home matchup against Whittier tomorrow evening.
