After improving to 8-0 on the year, Cal Lutheran women's basketball has climbed one spot to #20 in the WBCA Coaches Poll. Still outside the top 25, the Regals received exactly 18 votes in the D3Hoops.com Poll for the second week in a row.

Cal Lutheran hosted UC Santa Cruz in a Sunday afternoon matchup for its only game of the week, and it handled its opponent with ease, winning 61-42. It was actually the second-closest margin of victory in the early going for the Regals, after their three-point win over Texas Lutheran back in November.

The Regals will look to keep things rolling and further climb the rankings with two more home games this upcoming week. Willamette comes into town on Friday at 11am before St. Scholastica arrives for a 2pm tip-off on Saturday.
