THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Cal Lutheran men's water polo (10-10, 3-5 SCIAC) outlasted the Occidental Tigers (9-16, 4-3 SCIAC) in a 10-8 duel on Wednesday night.

Levi Cook saw the Kingsmen up 3-0 after one.
A trio of Tiger goals saw the score evened at 4, but four goals by four Kingsmen in the last two-and-a-half minutes of the half sent the game into the break with an 8-4 Cal Lutheran advantage.
All five goals scored in the third period were scored in back-and-forth fashion, as Occidental scored with one second on the clock to send the game to the fourth period with Cal Lutheran up 10-7.
That was all she wrote for the Kingsmen offense, but goalie
Jaeger Gonzales held the line, only allowing one goal in the fourth period. Gonzales had a monster game, totaling a season-high 14 saves (.636%) while adding four steals and an assist.
The win breaks a two game losing streak for the Kingsmen.
