ORANGE, Calif. - All of the Kingsmen's offense came within a three-minute span, as goals from Jackson Endsley (1) and Alejandro Loza (2) lifted Cal Lutheran men's soccer to a 2-0 win over Chapman on Wednesday evening.
After a scoreless first half, Joel Wollin tallied his second assist of the season, finding Endsley in the 66th minute for the match's first goal.
The Kingsmen (4-4-1, 2-1 SCIAC) fed off the momentum, scoring again just three minutes later. Endlsey capped off a strong offensive day with an assist after his goal, finding Loza in the 69th minute for a huge swing goal.
Goalkeeper Gen Katashiba turned in an outstanding performance, saving all eight shots he faced to keep the Panthers (1-6-1) off the scoreboard.
With the win, the Kingsmen stand in second place in the SCIAC standings as conference play rolls along. They look to make it two in a row in front of their home crowd against Occidental next Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m.
