DUBUQUE, Iowa — Cal Lutheran men's volleyball will make their NCAA Championship debut as the Kingsmen are competing in the NCAA Division III 2024 Championship which starts on Friday at Loras College.
"The guys are excited and focused," Head Coach Kevin Judd said. "Now we need to just be in the moment, …one day at a time, one match at a time. These opportunities don't come along all the time. It's taken us 9 years to get here! We want to represent Cal Lutheran, our community, our alumni, family, and friends and make them proud. Let's Go Kingsmen!"
The Kingsmen open the tournament with Dominican University (Ill.) on Friday at 4:30 pm PT/6:30 pm CT. The first game pits Trine University and the host, Loras, at 4 pm CT. The winners will play on Saturday at 4 pm PT/6 pm CT.
Tickets for the event will be sold AT THE DOOR with CASH ONLY. The price breakdown is $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors.

A Look at the Teams
Cal Lutheran
The Kingsmen finished as one of the top independent schools this season with a 22-5 mark overall, earning them an at-large bid. They are in the NCAA Championship for the first time in program history. Outside hitter Jordan Cooper, opposite Michael Stahl, and setter Taylor Marks were AVCA All-Region.
Dominican
The Stars punched their ticket to the NCAA tournament after winning the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) title. Dominican enters the NCAA Tournament with a 19-7 overall record.
Loras
The Duhawks won the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) championship match last Saturday to earn a berth in the NCAA tournament for the first time. They have a 24-1 record heading into the tournament. Outside hitter Corey Mayotte and Dorian Fiorenza, and setter Joe Horn were named AVCA All-Region.
Trine
The Thunder received the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League's (MCVL) automatic bid by way of winning the MCVL Tournament last weekend. They enter the NCAA Tournament with a record of 19-6. They are in the tournament for the first time in program history.
