WESTMONT, Calif. — Sarah Bjornson won twice and Niani Jones and Sebastian Sawyer both added an event win as Cal Lutheran men's and women's track and field competed at the Westmont Collegiate Classic on Saturday. 

Bjronson led the way as she claimed the high jump and pole vault. She cleared the height of 1.55 meters in the high jump and 3.10m for the pole vault. The women claimed one more event as Jones took the triple jump10.87m. Sawyer won the lone event for the Kingsmen and claimed the 3,000m steeplechase with 10:07.76. 

The teams combined for five runner-up finishes. There were three on the women's side, two individuals with Jones being second in the long jump with 5.09m and Brooke Hougo placing second in the steeplechase with 12:15.09. On the men's side, Jake MacKinnon was second in the hammer with 42.21m and Camden Hyde was second in the triple jump with 12.51m. The relay team of Jennyfer Hernandez Rosas, Ericka Clemons, Carly Christensen, and Aisha Mohammed Joji was the runner-up in the 4x100 with 52.94. 

The teams were third in five more events. Eric Talbert took bronze in the 5000m with 18:15.38, Hernandez Rosas took third in the 200m with 27.73,  Fatima Cervantes was third in the 400m hurdles with 1:14.35, Cheyanne Rodriguez took bronze in the hammer with 40.51m, and the relay team of Bjornson, Hernandez Rosas, Crystal Rosales, and Cervantes were third in the 4x400 with 4:23.36. 

The Kingsmen and Regals placed top five in nine more events and top 10 in five more. Below are the top finishers for more events.
