CLAREMONT, Calif. — Cal Lutheran women's lacrosse faced a tough test as the Regals were at No. 11 Pomona-Pitzer on Wednesday night. The Sagehens defeated the Regals 26-1.
Madison Soforenko scored the lone goal with the assist going to Sydnee Hill. Sydney Shin was all over the field and led the team with six ground balls, four draw controls, and three caused turnovers.
Hill, Malina Diaz, Leila Bauwens, and Kaitlyn Gill all added two ground balls while Hill had two caused turnovers and Josie Oparanaku had one draw control. Bella Bravo was in goal and made 10 saves.
The Regals have the weekend off as they prepare for non-conference competition next week. The Regals are hosting three games at Oak Park High School. The first game is with Lewis & Clark on Monday at 5 pm.
