THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — Five Kingsmen pitchers combined for a shutout to lift Cal Lutheran baseball to a 10-0 (F/7) win against Macalester at Sparky Anderson Field on Sunday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
It was a bullpen game for the Kingsmen (5-1, 2-1 SCIAC) as first-year starting pitcher
Colten Hanson (1-0) got the decision, going 2.2 innings while striking out two.
Kyle Johnson,
Carson Stanfield,
Milan Bugarin, and
Frank Willius all threw shutout innings in relief.
Troy Anderson's RBI double and an RBI single by
Ryan Farr gave the Kingsmen a quick 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second.
After tacking on one more in the third inning, the Kingsmen batted around the lineup and scored six runs on eight hits in the fourth.

Lucas Danielewicz, and Anderson all had RBIs.
THE NUMBERS
· Eight of the nine Kingsmen hitters in the starting lineup recorded a hit, with Anderson, Smith, Farr, and Dungo having multi-hit games
· Smith, who led off the big fourth inning, recorded both of his hits in the same inning
