MCMINNVILLE, Ore. — Cal Lutheran women's tennis picked up another win against Northwest Conference competition as the Regals took down Linfield 7-2 on Sunday morning.
The Regals won two of the three doubles matches to start the dual. Carmen Bufkin and Mina Ahmadi won 8-4 at the No. 1 spot ad Gerda Jucys and Kayla Kling won 8-1 at the No. 3. The Wildcats won the No. 2 as Maddy Ford and Kylee Limpias fell 5-8.
The Regals almost swept singles play as they won five spots. Bufkin won 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 1, Fatima Nemi Revilla won 6-4, 6-2 at the No. 3, Ahmadi won 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 4, Limpias won 6-4, 7-5 at the No. 5, and Anya Rajan won 3-6, 6-1, 10-5 at the No. 6. Ford played hard but fell 4-6, 7-6, 7-10 at the No. 2.
The Regals wrap up their road trip on Monday. They are at Lewis & Clark and the dual starts at 5 pm.
