THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — After a tightly contested game, Cal Lutheran women's basketball pulled away in the fourth quarter to seal a 69-54 victory against Chapman on Saturday evening. 
 
The Regals (8-4, 3-1 SCIAC) bounced back with a win after dropping their last SCIAC matchup against Occidental on Jan. 3. They also snapped Chapman's (8-4, 3-2 SCIAC) five-game win streak. 

Janna Holley set a new career-high in points with 23 and added four rebounds, four assists, and two steals, while Sara Mills posted 15 points. 
 
The fourth quarter began with the Regals leading 48-47, but Chapman knocked down a three-pointer for the first score of the quarter to put the Panthers up by two. After that shot, the Regals went on a furious 21-4 run, shooting 58.33% (7-12) from the field while holding the Panthers to just 22.22% (2-9) shooting during that stretch. Holley recorded eight of her 23 points in the fourth quarter. 
 
The Regals knocked down 90% (9-10) of their free throws and outrebounded the Panthers 40-28 and 15-8 on the offensive glass in the victory. 

The Regals remain at home and look to make it two in a row against La Verne (7-3, 3-1 SCIAC) on Wednesday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m.
