AURORA, Ill. — No. 3 Cal Lutheran men's volleyball was defeated by No. 14 Loras 3-0 on Sunday morning. Scores of the match were 15-25, 20-25, 19-25.
The Kingsmen faced their eighth opponent in games and are now 7-1 against ranked teams. They are now 8-2 on the year.
Vince Semon and Michael Stahl led the Kingsmen with seven kills each. Jordan Cooper was next with six digs and Ben Weber and Matthew Wilcox had five each.
Taylor Marks kept the offense moving with 28 assists and added four digs and two blocks. Logan Marks was the leader on defense with nine digs.
Loras had the Kingsmen's number in the game as they recorded a hitting percentage of .313 compared to .081. The Duhawks also controlled the net and out-blocked the Kingsmen 9-2.
The Kingsmen look to start a new winning streak on Thursday. They start a four-game trip in Pennsylvania against Messiah at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
