Quiroz Selected NCAA All-America by United Soccer Coaches

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Eden Quiroz of Cal Lutheran women's soccer was named Second Team All-America as the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Team was announced Wednesday afternoon.

Quiroz transferred to Cal Lutheran this year and is a graduate student. At midfield, she has helped the Regals to their most historic season. She scored a goal in three straight games, including the game-winning goal in the second round and Sweet Sixteen game and the equalizer in the Elite Eight. She has five goals and four assists on the year. 

The Regals this season have their best start in program history, are tied for the second most wins with 18, have a SCIAC regular season co-championship, and have their first-ever trip to the Elite Eight and Final Four.

This year's All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony & Reception on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
