ALISO VIEJO, Calif. — Cal Lutheran student-athletes Ally Fisicaro and Avery West were named Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Athlete of the Week, announced Monday afternoon. 

The duo swept the women's soccer awards with Fisicaro earning the defensive honor while West garnered offensive. Fisicaro is Athlete of the Week for the second time this season and West was selected for the first time. 

Fisicaro (Santa Rosa, Calif.) teamed with West as the Cal Lutheran defense surrendered just nine total shots over the pair of games. She scored a goal and added an assist as the Regals ended the regular season as undefeated conference champions against a pair of SCIAC Tournament qualifiers in Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges (2-2 tie) and Chapman University (3-1 win).

West (Santa Rose, Calif.) scored her third goal of the season and assisted on another in each game to help seal the regular season title for Cal Lutheran.
