Derksen drained another three before the break and Jessica Salottolo knocked down a field goal to give CLU a 36-21 lead at halftime.
In the second half, the Poets made a run to cut the Violet and Gold lead to 11, but the Regals pulled away shortly thereafter with a run of their own.
