2019 (Water Polo)
Helped the Regals win the SCIAC Tournament Championship as they advanced to the National Collegiate Water Polo Championship… competed in 25 games as a senior utility player… she totaled three goals, three assists, four steals, 10 drawn ejections and four field blocks… recorded a season high of two goals and three drawn ejections versus McKendree (03/01).
2018 (Water Polo)
Played in 22 games and started one…recorded eight goals, four assists, nine steals and seven drawn ejections…had a shooting percentage of .421…tallied a hat trick against Caltech (March 21)…recorded two steals against Conn. College (March 17) and had two drawn ejections versus CMS (April 21).
2017 (Water Polo)
Appeared in 10 games for the Regals as a sophomore…scored a season-best three goals against Caltech (Apr. 1) and had two multi-goal games…contributed with five steals, two drawn ejections, five goals, and two assists during the season.
2016 (Water Polo)
Made her CLU debut against Concordia-Irvine (March 4)…appeared in four games as a true freshman, earing one start against Macalester (March 15) and scored three goals with two assists, a steal, a drawn ejection and a field block… shot .500, scoring four times on eight shots….finished with three assists, two steals, two drawn ejection and a field block in first season for the Regals.

Graduated in 2015…varsity swim team for two years and varsity water polo for three…defensive player of the year 2013 for water polo…2014 South Coast League champions for water polo…2015 South Coast League champions for Swim.

Full name: Avery Karich…born November 21, 1997 in Aliso Viejo, Calif….parents are Amy and Eric Karich…has one brother, Hayden, and two sisters, Ariel and Olivia…chose Cal Lutheran because it’s a small school and everyone seems to love it…majoring in biochemistry…aspiring to become a veterinarian.
