in 110 sets...ranked third in kills...finished second on the team with 
86 assists...contributed 41 total blocks and 30 aces...ended season

Appeared in 45 sets and 24 matches, making two starts...averaged 1.71 
kills per set with 77 total...hit .262 for the season...added 15 total 
blocks, 37 digs and 18 assists...hit a season-high .778 against Whittier
(Sept. 25)...season-best 11 kills against Pomona-Pitzer (Sept. 29).

2008
Played in 10 matches and 17 sets total...notched career-highs of four 
kills and five service aces against Caltech (Oct. 24)...had 11 digs 
against Occidental (Nov. 6).

Woodcreek High School
Three-year member of varsity volleyball team...four-year member of 
Timberwolves soccer team...selected to Sierra Foothill all-league team for
both sports.

Full name: Casy Marie McWhirk...born on April 6, 1990 in Carmichael, 
Calif...the oldest of Timothy and Leanne McWhirk's two children...has a 
younger brother Jesse who swims for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo...family 
resides in Roseville, Calif...a communications major...career goal is to 
become a sports broadcaster.
