flies...scored 18 runs...had 14 RBI...walked nine times and was hit by 
two pitches...had a triple and a homer...scored two runs in a game on 
four separate occasions...had season-high three hits on Apr. 24 vs. 
Pomona-Pitzer...had season-high two RBI three times...home run came on 
Apr. 17 vs. Whittier...first-year member of CLU Scholar-Athlete Society.

2009
Appeared in 30 games and made 27 starts as a sophomore infielder...hit 
.339 with 19 hits in 56 at bats...was third on the team in assists with 
69...was walked eight times and hit by three pitches...ranked third among 
Regals with five sacrifice hits...posted a three-hit game on Feb. 28 
against Pomona-Pitzer...walked twice and drove in three runs on Feb. 22 
against La Sierra.

2008
Started 36 games and batted .318 as a freshman infielder...had 27 hits 
including six doubles...drove in 11 runs and scored nine times...led the 
team in sacrifices with 11...recorded three hits in a game against 
UMass-Boston (Mar. 17) and Pomona-Pitzer (April 11)...had three RBI on 
Mar. 17 against UMass-Boston...notched seven assists in a game from third 
base against Pacific Lutheran on Mar. 26.

Moorpark High School
Graduated from Moorpark High School in Moorpark, Calif. in 2007...played 
four seasons of softball and one season of volleyball for the 
Musketeers.

Full name: Katie Elizabeth Strang...born on Dec. 9, 1988 in Westlake, 
Calif...one of Vera and Doug Strang's two children...has a brother Greg who 
played high school golf for four years...family resides in Moorpark, 
Calif...currently majoring in Liberal Studies...career plans include being
a lower elementary school teacher.
