Saw limited time due to an injury, starting all 14 games she played in… the junior shortstop showcased top hitting and defensive plays before going down with an injury… in just 45 at bats, she totaled 18 hits including five doubles, two home runs and a triple for the second best hitting percentage on the team with .400… recorded 15 RBI and 12 runs with a slugging percentage of .689… added four walks and was hit by a pitch three times, striking out only twice, for an on base percentage of .481… recorded 21 putouts and 29 assists for a fielding percentage of .909… tallied a season high four RBI versus CMS (02/23).

College of the Canyons
Competed in the Western State Conference… played for two years… First team All-WSC, All-So Cal Team, Female Athlete of the Week, Player of the year WSC East, NFCA All-American, CCCFCA All- State Team and All Los Angeles County top five most memorable female athletes… her team was the WSC East Division Champions (undefeated)… CCCFCA Academic All-State Team… received her AA degree in liberal arts.

Simi Valley High School
Competed for the Pioneers in the Coastal Canyon League… played all four years and earned one varsity letter… First Team All-Coastal Canyon League.

Full name: Danielle Chatman… born Jan. 22, 1998… from Simi Valley, Calif… chose Cal Lutheran to continue her softball career and to get a great education… is majoring in communications.
