2015 (Softball) Season Stats - Enhanced Stats
Capped off her three-year CLU career by starting all 41 games at first base…one of the most consistent contact hitters for the Regals…led the team with 29 runs scored…finished the year batting .270 with 33 hits…third on the team with 15 walks…drove in six runs…swiped two bases to rank second on the team…totaled eight multi-hit games and scored more than two runs in a game at least seven times…went 2-for-4 with three runs scored in a win over Redlands (Feb. 8)…also scored three runs after going 1-for-2 with three walks in a 7-4 win over La Verne (Feb. 27)…hit her first career triple against Augsburg (Minn.) on Mar. 16…solidified herself as one of the top first basemen in the SCIAC…tied for the conference lead with a .997 fielding percentage among first basemen…anchored the CLU defense with 269 putouts and 18 assists in 288 total chances…had a hand in 11 double plays to rank second in the conference.

2014 (Softball) 
Season Stats - Enhanced Stats
Appeared in 35 games making two starts...played in the outfield and at first base while also being used as a courtesy runner...batted .360 with nine hits...was tied for third on a team with 19 runs scored...was 3-for-3 in stolen bases...finished with a .957 fielding percentage, collecting 106 putouts to rank third on the team.

 

2013 (Softball) Season Stats
Played in 36 games with 35 starts during debut season for the Regals…hit .250 with 24 hits and 11 RBIs…also stole five bases in six attempts…had a .973 fielding percentage playing mostly first and second base.

Delta State University
Played one year of softball at Division II Delta State in Cleveland, Miss…as a freshman started 35 of 40 games she appeared in…primarily a first baseman…batted .240 with four doubles, seven RBIs and scored eight runs…collected 24 hits.

 

Esperanza High School 
Graduated in 2010 from EHS in Anaheim, Calif.…played four years of softball for the Aztecs, earing three varsity letters…part of three league championship teams…was a three-time Scholar Athlete…named to Honor Roll…recognized with German Club Award.

Full name: Christina Hunter…born on October 29, 1992 in Poway, Calif.…nickname is Hoover…parents are Angie and William Hunter…has three sisters Lindsay, who was a high school swimmer and attends CLU, McKenna who plays high school water polo and Baylee, and a brother William who runs high school cross country…has a tortoise named Delilah and a dog named Sophie…chose CLU to return to Southern California after being far away and to go to college with her sister…has done volunteer work at her church…attributes her greatest personal sports moment to getting a hit off of Jennie Finch at a camp when no one else made contact…majoring in Psychology…career aspirations are to become an Occupational Therapist.
