2011
Named CLU's starting pitcher in 17 of her 19 appearances...her 95 
strikeouts earned in 2011 is the third-highest single-season total ever 
recorded by a Regals pitcher...during her two seasons at Cal Lutheran, 
Salas fanned 169 total batters to finish her CLU collegiate career in 
seventh place all-time...her .246 opposing batting average was the best 
mark recorded by any pitcher in the SCIAC ...ended the season with the 
second-highest number of strikeouts (95) in the conference, finishing 
only eight behind the SCIAC's category leader (Pomona-Pitzer's Carolyn 
Cross) even though Salas threw 56.1 fewer innings than her conference 
counterpart...led the team with her eight victories, 3.10 ERA, .246 
opposing batting average, eight wins, and 131.0 innings 
pitched...struckout 95 batters, a new CLU career-high...28 of those batters 
were fanned looking...appeared in 21 games, starting in 19 of her 
appearances...also ended the season tied for fourth in the SCIAC with her 
3.10 ERA...ended the season ranked fifth with 19 assists...recorded one hit 
in her three at-bats...allowed only one hit in seven full innings thrown 
at Chapman (Mar. 14) and against Pomona-Pitzer (Mar. 26)...earned shutout 
victories in both of those games as well...fanned five or more batters in 
11 games...pitched a team-high 10.0 runs in one game vs. George Fox (Feb. 
13)...struckout a season-high eight batters vs. Chapman (Mar. 14) and 
against Pacific Lutheran (Apr. 5).

2010
Was named the CLU Female Athlete of the Week for Mar. 15-21...went 6-7 
on the season with a 3.07 ERA...made 18 appearances and 14 starts...six 
complete games and three shutouts...pitched 73 innings...had 74 
strikeouts and 13 bases on balls...struck out a season-high 10 on Mar. 
31 vs. Hamline...first-year member of CLU Scholar-Athlete Society.

Los Angeles Mission College
Played two seasons of softball for Los Angeles Mission College in 
Sylmar, Calif. in 2008 and 2009...was a first team all-conference 
selection as a sophomore.

Los Angeles Baptist High School
Graduated from Los Angeles Baptist Junior/Senior High School in North 
Hills, Calif. in 2007...was Olympic League MVP in 2007 and a four-time 
all-league selection...appeared on the All-CIF First Team three times and 
one time on the second team.

Calif...one of Caroland Gilbert's three children...has an older brother 
Gilbert who played high school football and an older sister Joanna who 
played high school and college softball...Psychology major.
