2017 (Water Polo)
Oetken received an All-Academic Award for his outstanding achievement in the classroom, which earned him a spot on the Excellent award list (3.40-3.20)…started 7 of the 22 games he appeared in for the Kingsmen…as a senior he scored 12 goals and handed out 9 assists…he drew 11 ejections and 8 steals…he ended his season with a shooting percentage of .387.

2016 (Water Polo)
Made his Cal Lutheran debut against the Air Force Academy (Sept. 3)… appeared in 17 games for the Kingsmen as a junior… scored 12 times out of 24 attempts for a .500 shooting average… had two assists, four steals, earned one kick out, and had three field blocks… scored one goal, one assist, and 2 steals against Ventura College (Sept.23)… had a season best by scoring three goals against the Caltech Beavers (Oct. 29)...inducted into the CLU Scholar Athlete Society for the first time.

Played two years of water polo for the Mustangs.

Merrill F. West High School
Graduated from Merrill F. West HS in Tracy, Calif. in 2013…earned two varsity baseball letters and three varsity water polo letters for the Wolfpack…named to the All-League team in water polo in 2013, named to Second Team All-League for baseball in 2013.
