Savio Silveira was named an assistant coach for the Cal Lutheran men's soccer team in 2018.

Born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Silveira moved to Burbank, California, in 1971. He has played professionally and coached soccer for more than 35 years. Since beginning his coaching career in 1990, Silveira has coached at various clubs throughout the area, as well as at the high school and collegiate levels.

Silveira has coached at LA Premier FC, DMS 11, and Rampage FC, leading his teams to numerous titles, including Premier League, National Cup, Surf Cup, and Disney tournament championships. Throughout his coaching career, he has helped place players at the collegiate and professional levels, while also sending players to compete in England and Spain.
