2018 (Softball)
Played in all 40 games of the season as a senior for the Regals, one of just five players to do so… Hit .241 on the year with 27 hits, 15 runs, seven RBI, three doubles and one home run… Had a .280 on-base percentage and .295 slugging percentage… Recorded doubles against Pacific Lutheran (Feb. 3), Chapman (April 20) and Occidental (April 27)... Homered in the fourth inning of the Regal’s 6-4 victory over Western Conn. State on March 12… Recorded a season-high three hits four times during the season… Notched a season-best three RBI at Chapman on April 20 in a 3-for-4 afternoon with with three runs and a double.
2017 (Softball)
Started all 36 games at second base as a junior…came through clutch late in the season primarily as the number nine batter…accumulated a .258 batting average with 25 hits including four doubles…had a nine-game hit streak during the season and reached the bases in nine straight…scored seven runs for the Regals and finished with nine RBIs…recorded three multi-hit games…also batted leadoff and in the six hole for CLU…walked once and put down nine sacrifices…went 3-for-4 in stolen bases…finished with a .966 fielding percentage after recording 99 putouts and 73 assists…was part of nine double plays.
2016 (Softball)
Appeared in 34 games and started in 33 during her sophomore campaign for the Regals…hit .321 (26-for-81) and emerged as one of CLU’s top hitters…collected two doubles and a triple while accumulating 30 total bases…walked three times, contributed 10 RBIs and stole four bases…had seven multi-hit games…went 2-for-2 with a triple in the first game of the season against St. Katherine (Jan. 30)… went 3-for-3 with two RBIs against Pomona-Pitzer (Apr. 10)…defensively recorded a .967 fielding percentage after supplying 99 putouts and 48 assists…she was part of four double-plays.
2015 (Softball)
Appeared in 19 games while making six starts in the outfield during her freshman campaign…batted .267 (4-for-15) with two RBIs and four runs scored…went 2-for-3 against Whitworth on Feb. 2…inducted into the CLU Scholar Athlete Society.
Canyon High School
Graduated in 2014…played softball for four years and earned one varsity letter for the Camanches…team captain and MVP as a junior…earned Scholar Athlete all four years.

Full name: Mikaela Mayhew…born on Dec. 8, 1995 in Pontiac, Mich.…parents are Michelle and Ron Mayhew…has a younger brother Kyle (20)…has a pet dog named Harley…chose CLU for the small community feel and great opportunity to play softball…majoring in business administration...most vast memory of CLU Athletics was going to the postseason tournament her freshman year.
