Started all 26 games for the Kingsmen...led the team averaging 8.9 
rebounds and over one block per contest...ranked third on the squad

the season...grabbed season-high 20 rebounds against Redlands (Feb. 
12)...scored season-high 17 points against La Sierra (Dec. 11)...played

Named to the SCIAC Men's Basketball All-Academic Team...earned CLU Male 
Athlete of the Week for Feb. 1-7...played in 25 games and made 21 
starts...averaged 8.5 points and a team-high 7.3 rebounds in 24.6 
minutes per game...shot 52 percent from the field...added team-high 20 
blocks...16 steals and 10 assists...scored season-high 20 points on Feb.
6 vs. La Verne...pulled down -season-high 16 rebounds on Jan. 16 
against Occidental...posted three 13-rebound games...blocked season-high
four shots on Nov. 20 at Chapman...made three steals in a game twice 
(Dec. 30 vs. Hamline, Jan. 20 vs. Pomona-Pitzer)...second-year member of
CLU Scholar-Athlete Society.

2008-09 (Basketball)
Named D3Hoops West region Rookie of the Year...named all-SCIAC second 
team selection...chosen as CLU Male Athlete of the Week (Jan. 5-11, 
2009)...led the SCIAC in rebounding with 8.6 per contest...ranked 15th 
in the league scoring 10.6 points per game...notched six 
double-doubles...led the team with a .554 field goal pct. and tied with 
20 blocks...scored career-high 22 points twice, last time against La 
Verne on Feb. 11...grabbed career-high 18 boards against Occidental on 
Jan. 10.

Madera High School
Played four years of varsity basketball and one season of volleyball for
the Coyotes...earned Academic Athlete honor all four years...two-time 
first team all-TRAC pick.

Calif...the youngest of Mark and Kristi Van Klaveren's three children... has
an older sister Ranetta and older brother Jason...family currently
