Made 11 starts on the mound as a senior pitcher for the Kingsmen… The Saturday-morning starter finished with a starting rotation-low 2.98 ERA and 4-3 record… Allowed 25 runs, 19 earned, on 55 hits in 57.1 innings of work while striking out 29 and walking 22…. Recorded his best outing of the year against Linfield on April 13, tossing six shutout frames of two-hit ball… Fanned a season-high seven batters in his Kingsmen debut against Whitman on February 8...inducted into the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society for the first time.

Oklahoma Baptist University
Played one season (2018) for the Bison… Named to the Great American Conference All-Academic Team.

Junior College
Played one season with Pierce College and Oxnard College, respectively… Named to the Academic All-State Team and WSC South Second Team as a sophomore at Oxnard.

Royal HS ‘15
Four-year letterwinner for the Highlanders… His senior year accolades included First Team All-Ventura County, First Team All-Marmonte League and Team MVP… Was also named Team MVP and All-Marmonte League Second Team as a junior… Off the field, was a four-year Student Athlete Award winner (GPA greater than 3.5).

From Simi Valley, California… Parents are Frances and Stephen Kovach… Has one sibling, Elizabeth… Names throwing a 15-strikeout shutout as his greatest personal sports memory… Chose Cal Lutheran for the opportunity to win a national championship.
