MCMINNVILLE, Ore. – The Cal Lutheran women's tennis team rolled to a quick 4-0 sweep of Linfield University on Sunday evening, turning in a dominant performance from start to finish on the road.
The Regals wasted no time taking control, sweeping all three doubles courts to secure the opening point. The No. 3 tandem of
Eva Toplak and
Anaya Ayanbadejo set the tone with a strong 6-0 victory.
Evelyn Oltmans and
Grace Balasian followed with a 6-1 win at No. 2, and
Kylee Limpias and
Anya Rajan capped the doubles sweep with another 6-1 decision at the top spot.
Riding that momentum into singles, Cal Lu kept rolling as Oltmans struck first at No. 3 with a 6-2, 6-1 win. Rajan added a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 2, and Balasian sealed the team result at No. 4 with a 6-0, 6-1 performance to complete the shutout.
With the match clinched at 4-0, the remaining singles contests went unfinished.
