FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal Lutheran men's water polo (3-5) played them tight, but fell just short to Division I Cal State Fullerton (7-7) 14-11.
The Kingsmen had answers for the Titans in the first period, as they led 3-2 going into the second. The second was a tough one for Cal Lutheran, as Fullerton went on a 6-3 run to lead 9-5 going into halftime.
Each team exchanged three goals in the remaining two periods to keep the Titans' three-goal lead, and the final buzzer sounded cementing Fullerton's 14-11 victory.

The Kingsmen finish the Mini Invitational 1-1 and are back in action at home on Saturday, September 27 as they face Whittier at home.
