THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — The Reglas dropped the final game of the SCIAC regular season to the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens, 22-3.
Katie Knight rattled the cage twice and
Lauren Lohmeier did once.
Reyna Clark had an assist and four steals.
The Sagehens started with an early three-goal lead, but Knight was able to chip away and cut the lead to 3-1. Pomona-Pitzer scored seven unanswered goals and took a 10-1 lead into halftime. Knight added another goal to the stat sheet in the third period, but the Sagehens were able to increase their lead to 14-2 heading into the fourth. Lohmeier got her goal in the fourth, although Pomona continued to add to their lead to cap off the 22-3 score.
Cal Lutheran will turn the page as they enter the SCIAC Tournament and will face the La Verne Leopards in the first round at home on Tuesday, April 22, at 4:00 p.m.
