Mills, Burrage, Pipersburgh Named CSC Academic All-District

Three Cal Lutheran basketball players earned CSC Academic All-District honors, selected by College Sports Communicators. The Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Sara Mills of the Regals and Desi Burrage and Andrew Pipersburgh of the Kingsmen were those named in the CSC release.

After helping lead the Regals to their first SCIAC Tournament Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance since 2013, the senior guard caps off her final season as a Regal with another accolade, earning Academic All-District Honors for the second-consecutive year.

Mills averaged 10.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game across her four years in Cal Lutheran. In 2023, she earned her first All-SCIAC selection, averaging 13.1 points per game that season. Mills ranks fourth in program history in three-pointers made with 180.

This marks the second-straight Academic All-District selection for Burrage. Burrage followed up his 2023-34 SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Year campaign with a strong senior year, as he often guarded the opponent's best scorer and shot 48% from the field en route to a Second Team All-SCIAC selection.

Pipersburgh, a JUCO transfer, averaged 3 rebounds in 10 minutes per game in his first season with the program, including a 14-rebound performance against Messiah in December.
