THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — The Cal Lutheran men's and women's golf teams competed at SCIAC #2 on Saturday and Sunday. The Kingsmen finished fourth at 15-over-par with 575 strokes while the Regals were fifth at +68 with 628 strokes.
Adam Cartozian and Jot Singh led the way on the men's side as the duo finished tied for third and seventh, respectively. Cartozian carded an Even for his tournament and Singh was right behind him at +1.
Also competing for the Kingsmen was JP Guimaraes Jr., Luke Rimkunas, and Tanner Stewart. Guimaraes Jr. was 17th at +5, Rimkunas was 31st at +12, and Stewart was 34th with +17.
Ashley Zook was the top finisher for the Regals. She ended her tournament just outside the top-10 and finished tied for 11th at +13. Maya dela Rama made it two Regals in the top-20 as she tied for 17th at +17.
Rounding out the score for the Regals was Brooke Alderson, Anna Poulin, and Kaylie Hesse. Alderson tied for 21st at +19, Poulin was 24th at +20 and Hesse was 31st at +28.
Up next for the Kingsmen and Regals are the SCIAC Championships. The teams will play 18 holes each day on April 28-30.
