THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. –
Tommy Griffitts dropped a double-double as Cal Lutheran men's basketball won its seventh-consecutive game 84-63 against Oberlin College on Sunday afternoon.
Griffitts scored 21 points along with 11 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. Two of Griffitts' nine field goals came from beyond the three-point arc.
The senior's performance also pulled him within just nine of 1000 career points, which would make him the second Kingsmen to achieve the feat this season alongside
Devon Lewis.
The Kingsmen's 21-point victory marks their largest margin of the season, eclipsing their previous high of 16 against UC Santa Cruz on November 30th.
There was never much doubt for the Kingsmen, as they would hold the lead for the game's final 36 minutes.
The Kingsmen would go on two runs of eight points each in the second half. The latter would yield them a 25-point lead, their largest of the game.

Desi Burrage missed the game with an undisclosed absence, but head coach
Russell White expects him back for conference play next weekend. White said his absence proved the team's depth and reaffirmed their next-man-up mentality.
"Talked about having a deep team early in the year, it showed today," White said.
The Kingsmen remain home and are back in action tomorrow at 1 p.m. vs. Messiah University.
