Cal Lutheran men's water polo (14-13, 7-5 SCIAC) has achieved a bid to the 2024 SCIAC Tournament, looking to add a second conference title to its program history. The Kingsmen won as the 3-seed in 2022.

Final, TBD: Winner of Semifinal 1 vs. Winner of Semifinal 2 (higher seed hosts)

On Saturday, the Kingsmen traveled to CMS for their final match of the regular season. After losing by two goals, the tiebreaker rules determined that CMS would host Cal Lutheran in the first round of the SCIAC Tournament, leaving the door open for the Kingsmen to exact revenge in the same pool just three days later.

The first round matchup between the Kingsmen and the Stags will take place at 7pm on Tuesday. The winner will advance to the semifinals on the road against 1-seed Redlands on Thursday evening. The winner of that match will face the winner of Pomona-Pitzer and Chapman on Saturday, November 23 in the SCIAC Tournament Championship.

Cal Lutheran defeated CMS 10-9 in sudden death double overtime on October 19, but CMS tied the season series this past Saturday. Both matches were defensive battles, so Kingsmen goalkeeper Jaeger Gonzales will look to anchor another strong defensive performance on Tuesday.
