CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Kingsmen (5-6-3, 3-3-2 SCIAC) endured a tough loss on Wednesday, falling 5-0 to Pomona-Pitzer (3-6-3, 1-5-2 SCIAC). Despite the score, Cal Lutheran put forth a strong effort, totaling 21 shots with 11 on goal. This resilience highlights their determination to create scoring opportunities.
The Sagehens struck first, scoring in the 6th minute to take a 1-0 lead. The Kingsmen attempted to respond with several shots, but Pomona extended their lead with another goal in the 28th minute. Despite multiple attempts, Cal Lutheran struggled to find the back of the net, while the Sagehens added three more goals in the second half to secure the win.
