LA MIRADA, Calif. — The Cal Lutheran men's and women's cross country teams competed in their second meet of the season at the Biola Invitational on Friday morning. The Kingsmen finished seventh with 211 points and the Regals were eighth with 226.

The Regals competed strongly today on a tough course," said head coach
Brett Halvaks. "We are excited to get to focus on training the next two weeks to prepare for our first 6K of the season at The Master's"
Brooke Hougo was the first Regal to finish. She finished in 54
th place with a time of 21 minutes and 1.9 seconds.
Tianna Karr was next and placed 77
th with 25:06.8.
Also competing for the Regals were
Dinkenesh Coltvet (84
th, 27:32.),
Isabela Garcia-Work (85
th, 27:48.1), and
Kendall Fleming (29:11.7).
The Kingsmen ran a great opening 8K of the season," Halvaks said. "We will use this race to help with our training over the next two weeks."
Eric Talbert was the first Kingsmen to cross the finish line. He clocked a time of 26:45.7 and placed 31
st.
Joseph Roberts was the second Kingsmen to finish and was 64
th with 28:41.2.
Round out the Kingsmen lineup was
