Box Score CLAREMONT, Calif. — Cal Lutheran women's soccer had a tough road game and were bested by Pomona-Pitzer 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.
It is the Regals first loss in conference play as they drop to 3-1-1 in SCIAC and 6-4-1 overall. 
The Sagehens' defense was stifling in the first half and held the Regals to zero shots on goal. 
In the second half, Danielle Vis, Izzy Martinez, Madie Fahey, Macey Peery and Maya Blodgett each got a shot off, but could not convert. 
The Sagehens scored two goals in the first and one in the second. Logan Duford was in goal for the Regals, and made three saves, but took the loss.
The Regals will look to get back in the win column on Wednesday. Cal Lutheran host Claremont-Mudd-Scripps with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
