CLAREMONT, California — The California Lutheran Women's Volleyball team came away with their first conference loss of the season with a 0-3 loss against the nation's #2 ranked team, the Athenas of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

The Regals scored well throughout the contest, but were unable to slow down the powerful CMS offense.

Maci Haddad and Miranda Chan led the Regal offense with 8 kills apiece. Kennedy Crane added 7 kills and Morgan Given provided 6.

Libero Isabella Wade came away with 10 digs while Jenna Jones had 7 digs to go along with her 17 assists.

The Regals will return to Gilbert Arena for another conference match against Chapman on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. PST.
