Saturday afternoon was more of the same for the Regals who were unable to find the back of the net against the Lutes. CLU matched PLU in the first half as each team took seven shots, the first of the game just 27 seconds into play by Weckhurst, but an unassisted goal from Emily Hanna put the home team on top for good in the 30th minute. Pacific Lutheran added three more scoring plays with a pair from Machaela Graddy and one from Taylor Lunde before finishing with a shooting edge of 19-14. Pacing the Regals was Weckhurst with six shots, five on goal, while Bianca Deardorff was the only other CLU player with multiple attempts.
