PASADENA, Calif. - Cal Lutheran junior transfer Coltrane Powdrill became the first Kingsmen to be named the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Athlete of the Week during the 2013-14 winter season after being selected for his performance between Nov. 25 and Dec. 1.

Since joining the Violet and Gold, Powdrill has made an immediate impact for the Kingsmen, leading CLU to a 3-0 showing early in the season. Most recently he led Cal Lutheran to an 84-60 victory over Pacifica notching a pair of game-highs with a 30-point, 15-rebound double-double on Nov. 26.

The forward poured in 30 points on 10 baskets from the floor, connecting for his only attempt from three-point range, while adding a 9-for-10 performance from the charity stripe. His 15 boards included a pair on the offensive end of the court. Additionally, he chipped in with a pair of blocks and two assists.

Thus far in 2013-14, Powdrill leads the Kingsmen with 19.3 points per game, shares the lead for assists with seven and is second in rebounding with 7.7 per game.

Powdrill becomes the second male to earn SCIAC AOW honors, joining Thiago Gaglianone. Four Regals, Kylie McLogan (four-time), Melissa Skiba (two-time), Hayley Tamagni and Taylor Will, have been selections from Cal Lutheran this year as well.
