Griffitts earned the SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week award. He was a perfect 11-for-11 in a victory over Whittier College and added another 6-for-9 day to beat RV Pomona-Pitzer Colleges and claim the regular season conference title for No. 8 California Lutheran University. He averaged 18.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 1.0 steals across just 22.5 minutes of action per game.
