Sherard (Chula Vista, Calif.), the 2022 SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Year, was crucial in the Kingsmen earning their first conference win of the season in a 3-1 victory over Chapman University. The Kinsmen back line permitted just five shots on target from the defending SCIAC champion Panthers.
