Michele came to California Lutheran University in the winter of 2008. She graduated in May of 1991 with a BA in Physical Education and Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training from California State University Northridge. She worked with all the collegiate sports, but traveled as the head student trainer with both softball and football her junior and senior years. Michele then became a Certified Athletic Trainer in 1991 after graduation.
Upon certification, Michele worked in a private orthopedic office along with multiple physical therapy clinics in the L.A. area. She had clinical duties and participated in outreach for various private and public high school athletic programs. During this time, she worked with the NFL experience, NBA Hoop it Up, WAATC tennis tournaments and an Olympic Figure Skating qualifying event.
Michele lives in Thousand Oaks with her husband Forrest and dog Scout. They have two adult daughters Hannah and Jessica. In her free time, you will find Michele with her family. She loves adventuring in the Sierras, biking, sailing, practicing yoga or reading.
