Was a member of the Regal’s track and field program.
2023
Competed in 9 meets this season in the 100m, 200m, and long jump events… At the SCIAC Championships, placed 23rd in long jump with a mark of 3.34m, 31st in the 100m with a time of 15.65, and 37th in the 200m with a time of 33.75... Top finish was 8th in the Moorpark Season Opener meet in the long jump with a mark of 3.10m.
New West Charter High School ‘22
Competed in track and field in the CIF League… Graduated with a 4.7 GPA... Honor Roll Student... Fluent in the following 5 languages: Swedish, Italian, Spanish, English, and Tigrinya… National Honors Society... National Society of High School Scholars.
Personal
Hometown is Los Angeles, California… Majoring in marketing communication on pre-med track… Parents are Tekea and Tomas… Siblings are Liana and Nael… Chose Cal Lutheran because “I like the class sizes and the ability to have one on one communication with my teachers. I wanted to attend a school that would allow me to not just be a number, but where my professors would know me by name. My father is also an alumni and loved Cal Lutheran.”... Volunteered by starting a community service project where recycling is collected and then gave the money to a local language school and to Eritrea, Tutored students, and ended high school with over 100 hours of community service.
