2012 (Soccer) -Season Stats
Concluded senior year with three goals in 19 games...battled an ankle injury midway through the season but scored CLU's only goal in the SCIAC semifinal match against Pomona-Pitzer (Oct. 31)...scored in back-to-back games, fist against Pomona-Pitzer (Sept. 19) then against Occidental (Sept. 22)...inducted into the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society for the first time.

2011 (Soccer)
Appeared in 22 of 23 games...primarily used as first sub of the bench...finished fourth on the team with seven goals...also had five assists...scored game-winning goal in overtime against Occidental (Oct. 29)...had one of CLU's four goals against Whittier (Oct. 22).

2010 (Soccer)
Appeared in 20-of-22 games overall...scored two of the Regals' three goals during a 3-2 win over Chapman (Sept. 18)...her four points and four shots taken in that game were both season-highs...finished season with 15 shots...named Cal Lutheran Female Athlete of the Week (Sept. 13-19).

2009 (Soccer)
Appeared in 15 games, earning 13 starts as a freshman...both goals scored this season were game-winners coming against La Sierra (Oct. 11) and UC Santa Cruz (Oct. 18).

Foothill High School
Played three years for the Falcons.

Full name: Nicole Kathleen Rains...born on April 19, 1991 in Greenwich, Conn...the oldest of Richard and Susan Rains' two children...has a younger brother Tyler...family currently living in North Kingstown, R.I...majoring in liberal studies...career goal is to become an elementary school teacher and women's soccer coach at the collegiate level.
