Competed in 9 meets this season, in 800m, 1500m, long jump and triple jump events… At the SCIAC Championships, placed 14th in triple jump (11.34m) and 23rd in long jump (5.51m)... Top finish was 7th in triple jump at the SCIAC Multi-Dual 2 meet with 11.09m.
2022 (Track & Field)
Competed at 9 meets… Set career high 5.50m long jump at the SCIAC Multi Dual #1… Finished 8th with a career long 11.47m triple jump at the Occidental Distance Carnival… Finished 11th with a career best in the 800m at the SCIAC Multi Dual #2… Also competed in the 4X400m.
2021 (Cross Country)
Competed in three events… Placed 135th at the SCIAC Championships with 31:18.8… Best finish was 133rd at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite with 32:41.0… Fastest time was at the SCIAC Championships.
Van Nuys Senior HS ‘21
Competed for cross country and track & field in the Valley Mission League.

Hometown is Arleta, California… Parents are Karla Barragan and Manuel Velasquez… Has five siblings… Choose Cal Lutheran because “My Coach is a former runner here, and I also heard that they had a good exercise science and pre-med program.”… Majoring in Exercise Science.
