THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — It was all about defense as Cal Lutheran women's soccer and Pacific Lutheran tied after 90 minutes with a score of 0-0 on Friday night. 
 
Goalkeeper Logan Duford recorded a shutout and combined with the defense of Lily Hatanaka, Avery West, Ally Fisicaro, Savana Durr to keep the Lutes quiet. 
 
The Regals had their chances on the offensive side, but Pacific Lutheran's goalkeeper made four saves. Elena Baltazar, Macey Peery, Isabella Veljacic and West all had one shot on goal. 
 
Cal Lutheran out-shot Pacific Lutheran 8-3, but had to settle for the tie. The game continued to be even with each team having six corner kicks. 
 
The Regals looks to get in the win column on Sunday. They host Willamette at 1:30 pm.
