LOS ANGELES —
Elisa Shott scored the game-winner to lead Cal Lutheran women's soccer to a 1-0 win against Occidental on Wednesday night.
The Regals improved to 12-0-3 and 7-0-2 in the conference as they won at Oxy for the first time since 2019. They remain tied at the top of the conference standings with three games left to play.

Frank Marino. "Give them credit they put us under pressure but we managed a way to get the win and I am super proud of our team."
The Regals held the Tigers quiet in the first half and didn't even allow a single shot. On the offensive end, the Regals had eight shots with five being on goal.
Shott got the Regals on the board early in the second. She scored in the 54th minute and the Regals were in business.
Cal Lutheran dominated the game and had 15 shots, with nine on goal, compared to just two shots for Occidental.
Isabella Veljacic had three shots on goal, Shott had two, and
Ally Fisicaro,
Brynn McMahon,
Anna Evenson, and
Caitlyn Winter had one.
The Regals return home for their next contest. They host La Verne on Saturday at 7 p.m.
