Gilbert Arena

Located inside the Gilbert Sports and Fitness Center, Gilbert Arena has served as the home of Cal Lutheran Kingsmen and Regals basketball and volleyball since opening in August 2006. The arena features seating for 1,500 spectators, three full-length courts, portable basketball hoops, and a state-of-the-art retractable net system that allows the facility to quickly transition between practices, competitions, and special events. Named in honor of lead donors John “Jack” Gilbert and his wife Carol, Gilbert Arena opened with victories by both the Kingsmen and Regals programs and has since become one of the premier competition venues in the SCIAC.
