The senior logged seven innings of one-run ball to get the win in a series sweep over No. 20 SUNY Cortland, striking out three while permitting just a .174 batting average to opposing hitters. After stranding the leadoff batter on third base in the first inning as RV Cal Lutheran took a 1-0 lead, he retired the side in order in the second and third with two strikeouts and four infield groundouts. He then worked out of trouble where the leadoff hitter reached base in both the fourth and fifth innings, lasting until the Kingsmen scored twice in the bottom of the seventh.
