A rescheduled SCIAC series between the Cal Lutheran and Pomona-Pitzer softball teams had a promising start for the Regals, but it was the Sagehens who walked away from Hutton Field victorious, defeating the host squad 8-6 and 6-0.

While most of the Cal Lutheran student body escaped campus for spring break the softball team was in action to open the week and wrap up non-conference action, hosting Hamline (Minn.) for a pair. The first game went to the Regals, 6-2, while the second belonged to the Pipers by a score of 8-1.
